VCSE Pulse Survey - Share Your Insights and Help Shape Support for UK Non-profits – Grantfinder are reaching out to invite our voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) customers/groups

 to take part in a short VCSE Pulse Survey, designed specifically for not-for-profit organisations.

It will help them to better understand the needs of VCSE organisations, improve the services they provide, and shape how we support the sector going forward.

Funding Opportunities

The Fylde and Wyre Adult Social Care Prevention and Early Intervention Fund – Deadline 15/09/2025 - Grants are available between £1,000 & £8,000 through a partnership between Lancashire County Council, Wyre Council, Fylde Council and Community Foundation for Lancashire. The fund’s aim is to engage with community groups and the voluntary sector to support people where they are at risk of requiring future care needs. The objective is to complement existing Adult Social Care Services, to offer prevention and support interventions which address the needs of those who, if they do not receive support, may contact or be referred to Adult Social Services. Lancashire Environmental Fund – Deadline 02/12/2025 - Grants are available up to £30,000 to local communities & environmental groups for a variety of community & environmental initiatives within Lancashire. Examples of eligible expenditure are Children’s play areas, Ponds, Nature Reserves, Village Greens, Tree Planting, Energy efficiency measures at community facilities including double glazing, low energy lighting etc & lots more. McCarthy Stone Foundation - Creating Connections – Deadline 5pm 29/08/2025 – Grants up to £7,500 are available for charities and community groups for projects to reduce loneliness and isolation among people over 65 living in the more deprived areas of England, Scotland and Wales. Support is available for Befriending services, including meal delivery for those living independently, social groups, such as art classes, dance sessions, lunch clubs, and coffee mornings and community transport, connecting older people to local activities and services.

Barclays’ Community Sport’s Fund – Deadline 22 August - Grants of up to £1000 are available for not-for-profit organisations to make football, cricket, or tennis more accessible to women and girls. To be eligible, applicants must Deliver football, cricket, or tennis activities for women and girls – or are applying for funding to start. They must also operate in an area of high deprivation.

Funding for Innovative Projects that Engage the Public on Topic of Dementia - Deadline 5pm 08/09/2025 - (UK) Alzheimer’s Research UK’s Inspire Fund offers a small number of seed funding grants of up to £5,000 each year to new applicants from across the UK. The funding is for projects that meet both of the following core criteria:

  • Engage with underserved audiences on the topic of dementia, such as minority ethnic communities, marginalised or socio-economically disadvantaged people.
  • Build knowledge and understanding about brain health (in the context of dementia risk reduction) and explore ways to encourage behaviour change.

The Million Hours FundDeadline 22/10/2025 - Grants are available for not-for-profit organisations, schools and local authorities to provide extra support to young people (aged 10 to 18 years; up to 25 years with disabilities and special educational needs) in areas with higher rates of anti-social behaviour in England. The funding is for extra hours of youth work to give these young people more places to go and positive things to do. These extra hours could be used for things like learning, arts, and playing sports, or for activities like mentoring, and developing social or life skills. The Woodroffe Benton Foundation - This round will close on 31 August 2025 or when 150 applications have been received - Grants are available between £500 & £2500 for projects that improve the quality of life and social engagement for people with severe physical and/or learning disabilities in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Applications should be submitted via the online application form on the Foundation's website and will be considered at the Trustees' meeting on 15 October 2025. Successful applicants will be contacted within two weeks of the meeting.

Henry Smith Foundation Domestic Abuse Fund - Expression of Interest open 13 August 2025 and close 10 September 2025 (17:00) – A limited number of grants are available for not-for-profit organisations led-by-and-for marginalised and minoritised communities delivering specialist domestic abuse services within the UK. The funding is intended for groups that are deeply rooted in their communities and offer person-centred, holistic support that is tailored around the needs of people from marginalised and minoritised communities who have experienced domestic abuse. The funding will enable the organisation to continue to contribute to meaningful, lasting change for survivors of domestic abuse.

LACVS/LOCAL Fylde Coast VCFSE Support Fund 2025/2026 – No deadline, first come, first served basis - Grants of up to £2,000 and one larger grant of up to £4,000 are on offer to support community-led projects.  The programme is aimed at local organisations within the VCFSE sector with an annual turnover of less than £100,000 who are providing activity to address local community development, including support into training and employment, cohesion, and which make a positive difference to the lives and wellbeing of people of all ages.
