Dance can have many benefits for people living with neurological, or long term health conditions, including:

  • Better balance and coordination
  • Reduced risk of freezing and falls
  • Better cardiovascular health
  • Better energy levels and improved sleep patterns
  • Improved strength
  • More social interactions
  • Improved wellbeing and mental health

Helen Gould, Co-Director at LPM Dance, said:

“We're really excited to be bringing Neuro-Moves to our local area. We understand that living with a neurological condition is challenging, and it's often tough to find an activity that is accessible and designed to support particular needs.

“One of the wonderful things about Neuro-Moves is that we can adapt movement and support people wherever they are in their Parkinson’s journey. It really is a class that makes a difference and we can't wait to get started.”
