Major police operation disrupts ketamine supply across Lancashire

Please see below an update on Operation Shore - the force's countywide response to illegal ketamine.

We have stepped up our fight against illegal ketamine dealing in Lancashire. Our officers executed a series of high-impact warrants countywide as part of Operation Shore. The week of action led to forced entries, drug seizures, and the arrest of suspected dealers in a clear message that this criminality will not be tolerated.

Here is an overview of what we achieved last week:

19 warrants were executed across Lancaster, Blackpool, Fleetwood, Burnley, Pendle, Rossendale, Blackburn with Darwen, Hyndburn, Preston, Skelmersdale, and Chorley.
Quantities of suspected Class A, suspected Class B, and suspected Class C drugs were seized, as well as large quantities of as-yet unidentified white powder.
32 people were arrested, with ages ranging from 15 to 55.
Over £26,900 cash was seized.
Weapons including machetes, zombie knives, air weapons, and other bladed weapons were seized.

This policing activity is vital for taking harmful drugs off our streets. As well as seizing suspected ketamine, we have also seized quantities of cocaine, heroin, cannabis, and other illegal drugs. Removing weapons from the streets also makes them safer for everyone.
