Wyre Council's Rural Business and Community Consultation 'Sowing the Seeds'

We would be grateful if you could help us promote Wyre Council's new Rural Business and Community Consultation by encouraging residents and rural businesses in your area to take part.
The consultation, the last rural survey we will conduct before the merge with Blackpool and Fylde, aims to better understand the challenges, opportunities and support needs of people living and working in rural Wyre. Feedback will help shape future business support initiatives, funding opportunities and policy decisions, ensuring they reflect the needs of our rural communities. The survey covers topics including access to services, workforce challenges, connectivity, infrastructure and the financial and land use pressures faced by rural areas. Feedback will also help inform future strategies and investment across the borough.
The consultation is open until 2 October and can be completed online at www.wyre.gov.uk/have-your-say. We would appreciate any support you can provide through your websites, newsletters, noticeboards and social media channels to help maximise participation.
Wyre Council's Economic Development Team would also like to take this opportunity to say thank you for encouraging businesses to get in touch regarding their existing business needs and for pre-start business advice. Your support plays an important role in helping local businesses access the assistance available to them. If you could continue to share business support-related social media posts and information within your communities, this will amplify the messages that there is support available to enable businesses to grow and create employment opportunities across rural Wyre.
In addition, we would like to remind you about the Small Business Growth Grant, which is available to support eligible businesses that have been trading for more than 12 months. Attached is the latest Economic Development leaflet, which provides an overview of the business support, funding opportunities and advice available through Wyre Council. Please feel free to share the leaflet on your websites and social media channels, or print and display copies on community noticeboards and in local venues to help raise awareness of the support available to residents and businesses.
