Free family Halloween theatre returns to Wyre this half term
19th of October, 2026
Families are invited to enjoy some spooky fun this October half term as Wyre Council brings free family theatre back to Pilling and St Michael’s.
The Monster Ball is a fun-filled 45-minute Halloween show featuring Mr and Mrs Twit and the Three Witches. When they join forces, the result can only mean one thing... chaos!
Packed with mischief, laughter and spooky fun, the show promises a great half-term treat for the whole family. Children are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite monster, witch, ghost or ghoul, with some of the best-dressed audience members invited on stage to show off their moves with the Twits.
Families can also stick around after the performance for a Halloween photo opportunity with the cast.
Performances will take place at:
- Pilling Village Hall – Friday 30 October
- St Michael’s Village Hall – Saturday 31 October
- Shows at 11am, 1pm and 3pm
Wyre Council offers free family theatre for residents and visitors across Wyre during the February and October half-term holidays each year. The shows are always incredibly popular, giving families the opportunity to enjoy quality live entertainment together at no cost.
Tickets for The Monster Ball are completely free, but places are expected to fill quickly, so families are encouraged to book today to avoid missing out.
Everyone who requires their own seat will need a ticket, except babies who are too young to have their own seat.
