Wyre Council hosts event to empower Local Businesses in Public Sector Tendering

Wyre Council is hosting a free event on Thursday, 12 June (3pm – 5pm at the Civic Centre, Poulton-le-Fylde) to help small and medium-sized enterprises across Wyre and the Fylde Coast access public sector contracts. This is a fantastic chance for businesses to learn how to navigate the tendering process and explore new growth opportunities.

This informative session will provide a comprehensive overview of the new Public Procurement Act, helping local businesses understand the latest changes and how to navigate the tendering process effectively. Attendees will also receive updates on the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) Business Support initiatives, including upcoming bid and tender writing workshops. The event is designed to encourage collaboration among smaller businesses in Wyre and the wider Fylde Coast, as well as partnerships with larger firms, to increase their chances of securing local public sector contracts.
